A Little About Me: Your Future Therapist

Growing up the out spoken “horse fanatic” little girl has turned into an amazing blessing. I started out begging for lessons (didn’t we all), getting my first horse, turned from western to english riding and stepped up to an experienced school master. Boy did I learn A LOT.
As a high school senior, I got my feet wet at Equissage with Mary Schreiber. I loved the challenge but was left with a burning hunger to know more. Enter D’al School of Equine Massage. The intense 2 year course that covered the “When, Where, How & Why” of equine massage therapy. Taught and guided by a wide array of instructors (including the amazing Tracey Mitchell REMT), I was infused with passion, know-how and confidence.
Along came a man, marriage, several moves and babies. We’ve settled back into our hometowns with old friends. After having some difficulty balancing an equine client, I realized that sometimes the horse can be balanced and it’s the rider that needs attention. Back to school I went (KCCC Massage Therapy Program) and earned my massage therapist license.
Now my massage practice is based out of a little office in Mount Vernon, Ohio where you will receive a personalized massage that works with you, your mind and your body. My techniques work with your body, at your pace (horses have taught me that this is the best way possible) . You’ll experience a therapeutic yet relaxing massage aimed to take you from “Ouch! to Ahhhh” with a friendly, approachable yet professional therapist.
In my free time I enjoy working with 4-H clubs, watching my children grow and learn and donate to select charities.
